Beiler's deserves it's own post, because it's that good, and it was our first true Philly love.
It's what made me realize, Philly's doughnuts are better than your doughnuts (only slightly kidding).
Also, they were a part of our engagement, so they're really special to us, and we once got a GIANT donut made from them, okay twice (see photo gallery below)...!
Beiler's has a couple locations, including 2 in the city-- at Reading Terminal Market and University City. Besides those locations, you can find them out in Lancaster and Germantown, Maryland.
Please note, all locations are closed on Sunday and the MD location has way different hours, so be sure to check their website for that info!
1. Salted Caramel
It is cream-filled, but it's a light, airy cream, not like a custardy-cream
2. Blueberry and Apple Fritter
In that order
3. Peanut Butter
Any of their peanut butter varieties, but let's name some
PB&J, Peanut Buter Chocolate, Peanut butter Créme, Elvis Delight
4. Plain Glazed
Try it in its truest form, but also with chocolate icing or vanilla icing and even topped with fruity pebbles and M&Ms are good options!
5. Triple Chocolate
This is a cake doughnut base, so it's different than their "regulars," but it has chocolate frosting and chocolate chips. It's goood!
This can mean topped with chocolate icing, just glazed, powdered, etc., but that strawberry jelly filling is definitely a top contender.
Créme Filled Powdered or Glazed Créme Filled
8. Caramel Apple
