Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market is the holy grail of Philadelphia food, fo real! While it can get crowded, especially on weekends, it is not one to be missed. RTM houses over 80 vendors and is open 7 days a week (not all vendors are there 7 days, though). Be sure to walk up and down the aisle to figure out your game plan, and do a little food tour like we like to do! Get a little taste from a couple places!

Some of our favorites below:

Beiler's Doughnuts

Tommy Dinic's

They're famous for their Roast Pork Sandwich, but we went for the roast beef. A bit overrated in our opinion, but still worth a shot!

Great pizzas, Italian specialities like strombolis, cheesesteaks and this Italian hoagie! Yum!

Flying Monkey Bakery

They have some awesome creations like this Oreo cookies and cream brownie, whoopie pies, s'mores bars and more! During Thanksgiving, they have something called a "Pumpple Cake," which is pumpkin and apple pies baked inside of a chocolate and vanilla cake, topped with buttercream icing! It is over the top, but their goodies are always such a joy!

Pearl's Oyster Bar

This counter serves up some of the best food inside of Reading Terminal Market. From their brunch specials, like the Banana Cream French Toast, to seafood and more, you can't go wrong. Plus the chef here used to work at the infamous Green Egg's, so you know you'll getting up some pretty tasty creations!

The Original Turkey

When you're looking for a healthier option, there is nothing like this fresh roasted turkey carved by hand to satisfy! This is the Stuffin' Cranberry at $9.50. It has turkey, homestyle stuffing, cranberry sauce and all the fixins!

Hershel's East Side Deli

This is one of the best Jewish delis in Philly, and maybe even outside of New York! It's old school with its counter seating, service and style, and so is the food-- made from scratch! This is the pastrami sandwich with coleslaw. No wonder why this place is so good, Hershel learned his stuff from NYC's Katz's Deli (although Hershel's nephew runs the place).

Sit here for some heart-warming soups, sandwiches, bagels and knishes. You'll love it!
