the realest food!
This is the realest deli in the Palm Springs area. As you can tell by their name!
The realest German/European food in the desert. From schnitzel to goulash to cabbage rolls to soft pretzels and a variety of draft beers, you’ll want to eat, drink and hang out at this spot all night long!
Bob’s is a classic. Open since 1977 and family-ran, you will feel the comfort in this food. With that being said, don’t expect a gourmet meal, but if you want some foodforeal at a great price, Bob’s is for you.
It’s hard to find good pizza here in the Coachella Valley, but luckily, Piero’s PizzaVino knows what they are doing. A Neapolitan-style pizza using Italian flour, tomatoes and even the pizza ovens are imported! Plus, a late night happy hour in the summer, (must confirm with the restaurant for in-season happy hour specials).
Taqueria San Miguel is a great place to relax and stay a while! They’ve got a huge bar menu, huge food menu and 2 locations in the Coachella Valley - Cathedral City and Thousand Palms. Share a fresh seafood cocktail with the table and order yourself a chevala! #foodforeal
This unassuming spot embodies foodforeal. Little shop connected to a gas station, family-ran, homemade tortillas, fresh, hot meats, huge salsa bar. And very inexpensive. Best quesadilla in Palm Springs (this is in Indio, but worth the visit)!
The best Vietnamese food in the Palm Springs area! And even better, it’s Vietnamese and Laotian food, so the menu is a bit of a fusion, hence the name of the restaurant. The pho was really good too. Foodforeal recommended!
